Looks familiar! Apart from calling at Greenock last year, she is the former Artemis of P&O Cruises and before that, Royal Princess of Princess Cruises. She has been at Greenock in their livery as well.

What a beautiful morning to greet Oriana today!I was surprised to see she required the assistance of Ayton Cross and Svitzer Milford to cant and berth, the last one Ican remember needing that was the Black Prince! No matter, the main thing is she made it.Cheers Williemac

Oriana doesn’t have azipods and so not as manoeuvrable as newer cruise ships. I’ve been on her big sister Aurora a few times and she too has needed tug assistance.

Nice shots Paul,I meant to get her arriving however I think she was trying to outrun the weather and came in about 4 a.m.! I did manage to get Nautica though, she came in while it was still dry, though a wee bit misty.

P&O's old Arcadia, i.e. the one immediately before the current one of that name. Then Ocean Village and in Australia, P&O's Pacific Pearl.

Amadea(BHS-91-29008) Pax604 strictly speaking not passing through Greenock, unless it came down the M8.Never the less I thought it merited a mention as it headed for the Holy Loch. The morning started off wet then cleared, leaving an attractive misty atmosphere with low cloud.Cheers Williemac

Today's genuine contender for passing through Greenock was Azamara Journey, originally R6 of the defunct Renaissance fleet.Thankfully she appeared bang on schedule and apart from a brief drizzle the weather held.
